Monitors materials, components, products, and operations to ensure incoming.
First, in-process and final pieces meet customer and QMD specifications/requirements for quality.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform accurate physical and visual inspection of raw materials, components, in- process and final product as per inspection plans and specification requirements.
Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing rework and waste; inputting data into quality database.
Performs product identification and traceability activities as required.
Works with other company personnel to resolve inspection questions.
Follows all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.
Complies with all quality, safety, and work rule regulations.
Works extended hours, overtime or weekends as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS o High School diploma or equivalent o Prior experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
o Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
o Well-organized and task oriented.
o Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines PREFERRED SKILLS Language Skills o Ability to communicate in English in written and verbal form.
Mathematical Skills o Ability to add and subtract five (5) digit numbers.
Reasoning Ability o Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Computer Skills o Ability to use Microsoft Office programs.
o Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Physical Demands o While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.
o The employee must be able to walk steps between the floors in the building regularly.
o Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment o The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Safety o All employees will be provided training on working safely, evacuation procedures, accident reporting and other safety topics the company feels are necessary to ensure and maintain a safe work environment from hazards to the employee.
o An employee who does not feel safe or recognizes an unsafe practice, should report it immediately to their supervisor as a recognized responsibility of the position.
