This position is based out of Racine Correctional Institution (Sturtevant, Racine County).

gov/ETFEVP/ Position Summary This position is responsible for clinic patient flow within the Health Services Unit Ambulatory settings and assisting Health Services staff by providing a broad range of health care services.
This position functions as a member of the Health Services Unit's patient care team which includes registered nurses, nurse practitioners, clerical staff, and physicians.
Medical Assistants may provide patient care under the supervision of a physician, PA, NP or registered nurse (RN) and perform delegated medical acts which must be directed, supervised and inspected by the supervising physician.
Salary Information This position is in pay schedule and range 06 - 11 with a starting pay of $19.
52/hour.
Pay on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the Compensations Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code.
A twelve-month probationary period is required.
