Production Team Leader- 3rd Shift

Responsibilities:
Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by actively leading the safe execution of work Lead and motivate the team. The team leader will give direction to hourly staff in the area they are leading. They will ensure that the team is engaged, productive and appropriately trained for the machinery they are using. The team leader will be accountable for the actions of their team. Drive improvement in all aspects of the operations in the area they are leading.They must continually seek improvement in their department. Employee safety, quality control, productivity, costs and delivery time must constantly be improved. Help with the daily production schedule and the scheduling of qualified team members fir overtime needs. Monitor all machinery in their area. They must oversee the process and ensure it runs smoothly. That includes tasks like operating, palletizing, and labelling. They will also ensure the packaged product makes it safely to the line for pick up by shipping. Ensure quality control processes are completed. The team leader will ensure QC processes are correctly implemented and that quality is maintained throughout. Maintain production efficiently. They must ensure production machinery remains in good working order. The team leader will put in work orders for the maintenance of equipment, help organize repairs and plan for PM downtime on the machines. The packaging team leader will be dedicated to constantly improving the production processes and training for all in their designated area. Required
Experience:
Working knowledge of the machinery 2-5 years' experience in corrugating/converting Skills Required:
